How and why we use your personal data

We use your personal data in order to:

We process your personal data that you have entrusted to us by accessing our official website or by accessing our official profiles on social networks, by requesting contact, by requesting information about offers, products and other information related to the company's operations, by requesting a complaint, expressing an complaint or congratulations on entering into a business relationship with us.

We process your personal data collected via video, for the purpose of protecting people, property and food safety. If you find yourself in our premises at the address of the headquarters of Meat Industry RAVLIĆ d.o.o. or in our retail units, we inform you that the facilities are under video surveillance, which you will be informed about via stickers and information about the Data Controller.

As part of the business and employment relationship, you are obliged to make available personal data that is necessary for the establishment and implementation of the business and employment relationship and the fulfilment of related contractual obligations or for which there is an obligation to collect. Without this information, we are usually forced to refuse to conclude a contract, implement an order or suspend implementation and terminate an existing contract. You are not obliged to give your consent to the processing of data that is not relevant or prescribed by law for the execution of the contract.

Marketing

We process your personal data that you have entrusted to us by filling out the application form for our loyalty program (Loyalty program), for the purpose of becoming a member and exercising the right to discounts and benefits when purchasing, as well as monitoring data on the use of the card and achieved discounts with the purpose of improving and developing services and products.

From time to time, we organize prize games and prize competitions. We process the personal data we collect in this way exclusively for the purpose of realizing the prize game or competition (e.g., publishing the name of the winner to contact the winner, delivery of the prize, etc.).

We may collect and use your personal information for marketing via email, telephone and post.

We may send you certain marketing communications (including electronic marketing communications to existing customers) if it is in our legitimate interest to do so for marketing and business development purposes.

However, we will always obtain your consent to direct marketing communications where we are required to do so by law and if we intend to disclose your personal information to any third party for such marketing.

We use the e-mail address to send newsletters about interesting things and news from our offer and business.

You receive the newsletter if you gave us your e-mail address when signing up for our Loyalty program or if you expressed interest in receiving the newsletter by leaving your e-mail address in the form for the newsletter on our website.

At any time, you can simply unsubscribe from our newsletter list by selecting the option at the bottom of each newsletter, after which we will no longer send you the newsletter.

We will keep your data for up to 6 months after unsubscribing, as proof of unsubscribing to make sure we don't send you unwanted content.

In principle, we delete your personal data after the termination of the contractual relationship, and at the latest after the expiration of all legal obligations related to the storage of personal data and until you withdraw your consent, i.e., until the moment when we request the renewal of your consent, and you no longer wish to give it.

We do our best to keep your personal data secure and have taken all technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, modification or access by a third party.

Although we do our best, we cannot guarantee the complete security of your information. However, we promise to notify the relevant authorities in the event of a data breach.
