Quality policy
RAVLIĆ meat industry d.o.o. is one of the largest producers of fresh meat and meat products in Croatia. Our fundamental goal is the production of healthy and high-quality food that meets consumer expectations.
We want to strengthen the market position of RAVLIĆ meat industry with quality and safe products. We want the RAVLIĆ brand to become a synonym for fresh and high-quality meat and traditional meat products produced with strict control of the technological process throughout Croatia. We start from monitoring, fulfilling and anticipating customer requirements, and continuously develop brands and products that our customers will recognize and return to again and again.
Therefore, through open and transparent communication with all interested parties, we work to permanently improve business processes and management systems, and ensure a positive organizational culture. The processes are set up to enable timely maintenance and modernization of both processes and production lines, following global trends, and to ensure traceability in all stages of production and storage. Through these and other processes, we ensure the health and safety of products in all stages of production and storage by applying the HACCP system and prerequisite programs (GMP, GHP, SSOP).
Upgrading and improving the quality management and food safety system is our constant task. We fulfil the task by reviewing and comparing the achieved results and set goals.
We establish processes so that they are the basis for permanent improvement of food quality and safety management through measures that include optimization of business processes, and continuous supervision of all activities related to food quality and safety.
We are aware that a company is only as successful as its employees, and therefore one of our priorities is to invest in staff education and training, create preconditions and an atmosphere for teamwork, introduce and involve employees in the company's philosophy and monitor scientific achievements, develop their knowledge and competences.
We continuously develop employees' awareness of the importance of their work in achieving and maintaining quality through established responsibilities and adequate education. Through frequent training of employees on food safety, we make workers aware of the importance of ensuring healthy and safe products, and we develop a culture of food safety.
We continuously develop and maintain a partnership relationship with suppliers and with all interested parties in the field of quality management and food safety with the aim of achieving long-term business success.
Care for current and future generations, which is contained in helping various humanitarian, cultural and educational organizations, care for the environment, and responsibility for the products we put on the market, is our permanent commitment. Our development strategy consists of promoting environmental awareness in all processes and stages, and developing social awareness through corporate volunteering, sponsorships and participation in social and humanitarian events.
We continuously monitor and fulfil all relevant standards and legal regulations. We respect legal norms and ethical principles in business, taking into account the requests made by interested parties.
We will provide all the necessary resources so that the quality and food safety management policy is fully applied in all business segments, and all our employees are obliged to comply with the food quality and safety policies, quality management system documentation, and within the framework of their responsibilities and authority to contribute to the realization constant improvements and set goals.
The guidelines of this policy as well as the entire management system are based on the requirements of HACCP, the international norm ISO 9001, and the IFS standard.
